About the role: The Intelligence and Risk Monitoring Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery of Safer Care Victoria's safety intelligence and risk monitoring functions. The role contributes to identifying emerging safety issues, supporting structured system monitoring, and generating insights that inform proactive responses to risks across the Victorian health system. Working under the guidance of the Manager, Intelligence and Risk Monitoring, the role provides project coordination, data preparation and documentation, and contributes to the delivery of analytics and monitoring workflows. The Support Officer works collaboratively with team members across the intelligence and risk stream including analysts, epidemiologists, and coordinators to ensure timely and accurate outputs that support safety signal detection, predictive modelling, and risk escalation. The role also assists in liaising with stakeholders across Safer Care Victoria, the Department of Health, and the broader health system to support the integration of insights into safety improvement activities. This includes providing logistical and administrative support for system reviews, safety alerts, or targeted monitoring initiatives.
