Applications Are Sought For: DEFENCE SCHOOLS MENTOR (DSM). (20 Casual hours per week - term time only) The successful applicant will provide information, support and develop a range of activities for dependents of ADF members and families to ease the impact of mobility and service related parental absence. Essential Criteria The position requires a commitment to working within the Catholic Ethos. Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain one).Sound communication skills both oral and written, and the ability to communicate effectively with primary and secondary school aged children, school principal and staff, parents, ADF Members and their families. Demonstrated ability to organise own work, set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently and as a team member and maintain confidentiality. Ability to plan, organise and deliver activities and resources relating to the needs of ADF families. Ability to acquire quickly an understanding of the operations of the school. Current driver's licence (MR Licence would be an advantage).
