Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a First Nations Project Officer for a time-limited position within the Public Health team. The role will undertake discrete CQI-focused projects and contribute to continuous quality improvement in health promotion initiatives across our communities. This position will be available from December 2025 and can be offered as casual, part-time, or full-time, with the employment duration varying based on the agreed hours per week. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination; An understanding of the issues faced by Yolngu people living in remote settings; Knowledge and experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services; Demonstrated understanding of health promotion principles and social determinants of health in an Aboriginal public health setting.
