Job responsibility Work closely with Sales Person on the preparation of sales quotations and following up of sales enquiries. Communicate with suppliers and customers regularly to develop long term relationship. Act as gatekeeper of pricing elements on agreements in place. Support the sales team in ensuring that quotes needed are collected in a timely manner, take initiatives to clarify requirements for purchase orders. Handle promptly and accurately quotation, sales contract, and provide service and support to internal and external customers via order management. Manage customer complaints on billing/shipment/stock issues. To participate in ad hoc projects and supply chain initiatives where tasked. Assist Sales on forecast report and purchase requisition. Arrange product samples with suppliers for customers, sample tracking with sales team. Liaise with suppliers & customers for master-data documentation. Compile CRM visit reports & opportunity pipelines with sales team. Handle sales administration activities. Assist HoS to co-ordinate with sales team on commercial excellence matters. Coordinate sample requests from customers to suppliers. As requestor in customer master, vendor master and material master requests. Support sales team in customer’s Questionnaire and Forms and liaising with suppliers for certificates and statements. Manage requests received in customers’ portal. Assist on the SAP master data application process with relevant teams. Requirements: Qualification in an industry related discipline – (science/chemistry) desirable but not essential Marketing or Commerce degree would also be valued Prior experience in sales and/or customer experience roles Experience in distribution, chemical or other similar industry desirable but not essential Working experience with SAP or similar ERP system and CRM preferred but not essential An agile, highly collaborative, and early adopter mindset Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team Digitally savvy, self-motivated, ability to prioritise and take initiative, strong organisational and time management skills Strong Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
