About the role This is an incredible opportunity to join Are Media’s passionate Marketing team as a Digital Marketing & Media Manager. In this role, you’ll lead integrated digital campaigns across some of Australia’s most loved lifestyle brands. Based in our lively Sydney office, you’ll be at the heart of digital innovation, creating multi-channel marketing strategies that connect millions of Australians with inspiring content and experiences. It’s a perfect mix of strategy and creativity, where you’ll work with the latest marketing technologies and collaborate closely with our creative, editorial, and commercial teams to deliver real, measurable results. Duties Lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies, including planning and buying across digital and traditional channels to maximise ROI. Partner with internal teams to grow and engage audiences, driving acquisition, retention, and brand KPIs through performance marketing and first-party data initiatives. Monitor, analyse, and optimise campaign performance using analytics tools, A/B testing, and real-time insights. Manage budgets efficiently, ensuring spend is optimised and performance is tracked against targets. Skills and experience 5 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in media, publishing, or lifestyle brands Proven track record managing significant digital media budgets ($500K annually) Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and marketing automation platforms Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) Demonstrated expertise in campaign optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization Are Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
