We are now looking for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our vibrant team and help us deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and plate dishes from your designated station according to the menu and established standards. Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality during every service. Organise and complete mise en place (preparation) ahead of each service period. Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and efficiently run workstation. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or requisition needs promptly. Ensure all dishes leaving your section meet presentation, temperature, and flavour standards. Adhere strictly to hygiene, allergen, and food safety procedures (including HACCP guidelines). Check and rotate stock to minimise waste and monitor use-by dates. Supervise and support Commis Chefs or apprentices working on your section. Coordinate timing with other stations to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef regarding timing, issues, or preparation needs. Collaborate with other sections to maintain a seamless flow during service. Assist with stocktakes and inventory counts. Contribute ideas for new dishes and daily specials. Support other sections as required, particularly during staff shortages. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 year of experience in a commercial kitchen. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Skilled in preparing a variety of dishes with accuracy and consistency. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 Superannuation
