This campus is one of three campuses and provides a comprehensive range of acute, urgent care, aged care, community health and allied services. The campus is located, a short distance from Warracknabeal's central business district and approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. As the Nurse Unit Manager you will be responsible for the operational effectiveness of the designated unit, including the day to day management of the clinical area, rosters, quality and safety for all, effective utilisation of resources, equipment and facilities and performance development and management of the clinical team. The successful candidate will have: Relevant post graduate training or education in aged care, acute medical or emergency nursing Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, person-centered care Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role, including but not limited to Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rosters and workforce needs Current Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Full working rights in Australia If you are interested in this position please send your updated CV to caroline@curis.com.au and I will be in touch soon.
