This campus is located a short distance from the towns central business district and approximately halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne. You will be an experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager and will be able to lead the residential aged care facility at the campus. Leading by example with well-developed professional, clinical and people management skills, you will ensure the care team provides safe and high-quality clinical care to residents in line with key guidelines and frameworks relevant to an aged care setting. As the successful candidate you will have: Relevant post-graduate training or education in aged care or acute medical nursing Relevant post-graduate education in leadership and management, or plans to undertake Demonstrated competence in leading and managing a team to deliver services that ensures safe, person-centered care Knowledge of key guidelines and frameworks relevant to the role including, but not limited to, Safe Patient Care Act, Code Grey requirements, and Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards Demonstrated ability to develop and manage rosters and workforce needs You will also have: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Annual Flu vaccination Current Police Clearance NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain Full working rights in Australia Location Information: Step into the heart of Victoria’s Wimmera region - a place where country charm, wide open skies, and genuine community spirit still define everyday life.
