ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Pavement Supervisor in NSW to join a well-established contractor in the roading industry. This permanent role will see you overseeing asphalt works across local shire projects as well as Transport for NSW contracts. You’ll play a key role in both supervising and planning work to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Responsibility: Supervise and support a dedicated asphalt crew and manage a plant based at the depot. Lead and motivate the crew to ensure project deliverables are achieved efficiently and to a high standard. Planning, resourcing, and looking ahead to ensure smooth project delivery. Communicating effectively with the team members to ensure a clear understanding of daily tasks, objectives, and safety requirements. Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. Monitoring and managing on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with industry standards and company policies. Requirements: 7 years of experience in asphalt road pavement or similar roles within civil construction. Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field are highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams on-site, particularly in asphalt or pavement projects. Previous work history within the Australian or New Zealand construction markets is advantageous. A strong understanding of road construction methods, health and safety requirements, and project management. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid White Card and the right to live and work in Australia.
