The Opportunity This role sits within the Cloud DevOps team, part of a broader global Managed Services function undergoing an exciting modernisation journey. You’ll join a small, collaborative global team supporting key cloud-based products used by clients worldwide. The environment is mature, organised, and high performing with cross-regional collaboration embedded into daily stand-ups and sprint cycles. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Build and optimise Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and maintenance via PowerShell / Bash scripting. Enhance security, performance, and scalability across the global Azure environment. Maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles. Collaborate with developers, SREs, and architects to drive DevOps maturity and automation initiatives. About You 5 years’ experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, ideally within Azure environments. Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates. Demonstrated ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines end-to-end. Scripting and automation capability across PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or comparable technologies. Solid grounding in networking and traditional infrastructure concepts. Certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-400 are highly regarded.
