We are seeking an Assistant General Manager – Internal Controls & SOX to strengthen the company’s internal control framework and drive compliance excellence in Bangladesh. In the second year of KSOX implementation, this role focuses on testing and enforcing existing controls, ensuring effective risk management, and leading a capable internal SOX team in alignment with global standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a dedicated internal SOX team of 7–8 members. Manage KSOX compliance testing, internal control enforcement, and remediation planning. Collaborate with external consultants, auditors, and HQ counterparts. Anticipate challenges and proactively design control solutions to mitigate risks. Guide, mentor, and develop team members to foster a culture of accountability and excellence. Report progress to senior management and drive continuous improvement in internal control practices. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Education: BBA/MBA in Accounting or Finance from a reputed university. Professional Certification: ACA or FCA from a recognised Chartered Accountancy firm. Experience: 8–10 years total, with 3–5 years post-qualification in SOX or internal control functions in large conglomerates, MNCs, or RMG/textile groups. Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel and strong SAP experience are essential, along with sound knowledge of financial accounting and fixed asset processes. Power BI exposure is preferred. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management abilities. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Highly organised, ethical, and detail-focused.
