This role is responsible for the afternoon shift, overseeing a fleet of 12 trucks and working closely with drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries. The successful candidate will play a key role in fleet allocation, scheduling, and coordination, contributing to operational excellence across the business. Key Responsibilities: Allocate and schedule fleet resources for afternoon operations, ensuring trucks are efficiently utilised. Supervise and support drivers, maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue, and operational policies. Monitor fleet performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Liaise with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and provide timely updates to customers. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, driver hours, and operational reporting. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet controlling. Strong people management and communication skills, particularly with drivers. Ability to plan and coordinate resources effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of transport compliance, safety, and fatigue management legislation.
