ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and detail-focused WHS Advisor to join the People and Performance team on a part-time basis (0.8 FTE) across a 7-day roster at Monarto Safari Park . Reporting to the WHS Manager, you will focus on the operational delivery of workplace health and safety systems and practices at the Monarto site. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the implementation of WHS policies, procedures, and systems Conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections and following up on corrective actions. Maintaining and analysing incident reporting data, identifying trends and recommending improvements. Coordinating WHS training and induction programs, including first aid, fire warden, CPR, and other safety-related courses. Advising staff on safe systems of work, PPE, and compliance with legislation Organising site-level health programs such as flu vaccinations and skin checks Preparing reports and updates for the WHS Manager and contributing to a positive safety culture at Monarto. ABOUT YOU To succeed in this role, you will need a proactive, collaborative approach, excellent attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills. You will be able to demonstrate: Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent) Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain/maintain) Experience implementing WHS practices in a workplace environment, ideally in trade or conservation-based settings Knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance, and incident reporting systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide guidance and advice to staff Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines HOW TO APPLY Please complete the work history and education information on the application page at www.zoossa.com.au/careers.
