Earnshaw, formerly Lake Grace Engineering, is a Lake Grace-based fabrication and engineering business specialising in agricultural equipment. Established in 1999, the company designs, manufactures, and repairs machinery such as seed and fertiliser bins, augers, and liquid carts — delivering high-quality solutions to the agricultural industry. We are seeking 2 x experienced Metal Fabricator/Welders (Boilermakers) to join our team in Lake Grace for an initial 2-month assignment with potential for extension. Candidates willing to relocate are highly regarded for this role and will be considered for a permanent placement. This role will see you fabricating and assembling high-quality agricultural machinery in a well-equipped regional workshop. Candidates on 482 VISAs based in Australia will be considered for this role. PLEASE NOTE; Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an Automated Interview as part of the screening process. What’s on Offer: $40ph – Permanent / Full time or $60ph - Short Term Contract/Casual (2 months with possible extension) Travel time paid – DIDO from Perth to Lake Grace Accommodation provided – local housing Subsidised rent for those seeking to relocate for full time role or DIDO Monday to Friday roster: Depart Perth Monday 5:00am Work Monday–Thursday in Lake Grace Finish Friday 2–3pm and return to Perth by 6–7pm Option to stay locally longer if preferred or seeking additional overtime on potential Saturdays Key Responsibilities: Fabricate, assemble, and repair agricultural equipment and components Perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Operate fabrication machinery (brake press, guillotine, plasma cutter, rollers, grinders) Work on builds including: Seed & fertiliser bins Augers Liquid carts Comb trailers Adjustable tillage assemblies Maintain workshop safety, quality standards, and compliance documentation Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent) White Card (Construction Induction) Forklift licence (desirable) Confined Space / Working at Heights tickets (advantageous) 2–3 years’ experience in fabrication or heavy industrial workshop environments Proficient in MIG and TIG welding Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, materials, and tolerances If you’re an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator looking for a hands-on role with paid travel, accommodation, and great rates — we’d love to hear from you.
