Toll Group is seeking an Import & Export Coordinator to join our Retail & Consumer division at our Kemps Creek facility! About the Role – As the Import & Export Coordinator, you will direct, co-ordinate, supervise and achieve service objectives with regard to all warehouse operations container movements nationally, working very closely with the demand planners this role is responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed in the safest and efficient manner in line with agreed standards in operational procedures, national strategy and in a manner ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities, but not limited to – Work closely with the demand planners to ensure planning schedules are executed. Oversee all national container movements across all DCs as per the agreed schedules. Working with suppliers and freight forwarding companies to coordinate the logistics associated with all import and export shipments. Including booking transport, generating documents, obtaining clearances through the customer demand planners, updating system information and communicating with internal and external parties as required to expedite the process. Track container movement schedule daily and work with operations to call out any delays or issues. Work closely with the customer demand planners to best assist with managing container detention through scheduling and capability planning. About You To be successful in the role, you will need: Intermediate computer software skills (Microsoft Workl Excel & PowerPoint). Warehouse Management Systems exposure and experience. Understanding of the concept of providing a service to a client, in a third party contracted logistics environment. 2 years’ experience in import/export coordination or international logistics.
