We are seeking a dedicated HSE Manager to lead and enhance workplace health and safety practices within the transport & distribution sector. Work for a global organisation and be responsible for multi site operations. Client Details This opportunity is with a reputable organisation in the transport & distribution industry. As a large organisation, they are committed to maintaining high standards of workplace health and safety while providing exceptional service to their clients. Description The client is facing a unique challenge, with multiple sites across the country with some company owned, and some franchised where influence would be the key word. This is a hands on HSE management role, with a lot to achieve. The role will grow into a leadership position with an advisor to be hired in 2026, but for now this person will be the main POC for all things HSE related in Australia. Reporting into the HSE Lead for OCEANIA based in NZ, you will always feel supported, but from a remote perspective - so this is an autonomous role in the initial set up. Profile A successful applicant should have: Min 5 years of HSE expertise, with formal qualification (Cert IV min, Diploma or above preferred). Experience working across a multi site environment. Ability to manage complex processes, with growth into people leadership role in the future, but not immediately. Ability to travel nationally & run Virtual meetings on all things HSE related. Educate, coach and be able to influence middle - senior management on use of HSE systems and best practice. Knowledge or previous experience with ISO 45001 would be a bonus, but not essential.
