Reporting to the Head of Supply, this role will see you take overall responsibility for the Supplyhaus Steel business. You will provide exceptional leadership to our teams and continue to drive, scale and grow the business. Key responsibilities Own the P&L, set strategy and expand into new markets. Manage a blended local and offshore fabrication and procurement model. Streamline structure and processes to enable scalable, repeatable delivery. Build and execute a sales plan that drives growth and diversifies revenue streams. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team. Strengthen internal and external relationships to support project success. The opportunity Support multiple live McNab projects while growing an external client base across Queensland and New South Wales. Integrate steel supply with in-house logistics, façade and joinery teams to provide true “one-drop” solutions. Shape the growth plan—market positioning, tender strategy, capital investment and partnership opportunities. Oversee forecasting, budgeting, risk management and quality assurance. Embed lean fabrication, digital workflows, safety, DIFOT and continuous improvement. Deepen the supply chain by nurturing trusted Asian fabrication partners and preferred local riggers. Represent Supplyhaus in industry forums and cultivate relationships with tier-one builders, consultants and government stakeholders. What you’ll bring Proven success leading a structural-steel or heavy-fabrication business with full P&L accountability. Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, welding codes, QA systems, logistics and erection methodologies. Demonstrated ability to grow revenue through builder partnerships and direct business development. Commercial acumen to price risk, negotiate contracts, optimise inventory and protect margin. Inclusive, hands-on leadership that engages trades, engineers and professionals alike. Current drivers licence and willingness to travel to sites across South-East Queensland. Current passport and availability for occasional overseas travel (approximately two to three trips per year). Engineering, Construction Management or trade background highly regarded; postgraduate business studies are an advantage.
