Greentech Cairns is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious HR Truck Driver to join their vibrant and growing team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering solar and energy storage products to valued customers across the Far North QLD region. This position offers a balance of driving, customer interaction, and hands-on warehouse support — ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values accuracy, and enjoys being part of a tight-knit, team-oriented environment. This is a permanent full-time role based in Cairns, QLD. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting same-day, local deliveries and return runs Safely loading and unloading goods at customer and supplier sites Liaising with dispatch and customers to coordinate deliveries Performing daily vehicle checks and maintaining logbooks Ensuring all goods are handled, transported and delivered safely and efficiently Supporting warehouse operations when required. What you’ll need to succeed : HR licence and clean driving record (essential) Forklift licence (preferred) Strong work ethic – consistent and reliable on both busy and quiet days High attention to detail – understands that accuracy prevents costly mistakes Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision Experience in transport, logistics or warehousing (highly regarded) Additional training in load restraint, fatigue management or vehicle safety (advantageous) Dependable, steady and level-headed under pressure Takes ownership, prioritises safety and maintains professional standards You have full Australian working rights with no restrictions – Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident as sponsorship is not offered for this position.
