Role Overview Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab on a project advancing multimodal machine learning — systems that interpret visuals and sound. We are seeking detail-oriented freelance contributors to review short video and audio clips and compare AI-generated outputs. This is a short-term, fully remote engagement with flexible hours. Your evaluations will help improve the accuracy and reliability of next-generation AI. Eligibility Applicants must be based in one of the following locations: United States (excluding California, Connecticut, Washington, and the District of Columbia), United Kingdom , Canada , or Australia . Responsibilities Review and evaluate multimedia content (audio, images, and video). Compare AI outputs and select the result that best meets quality criteria. Tag and annotate clips to support training and benchmarking. Follow clear project guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality results. Qualifications Fluent in English (native or near-native); additional languages are a plus. Strong attention to detail and clear written communication. Reliable adherence to instructions and quality standards. Comfortable working independently and maintaining focus on repetitive tasks. Engagement & Schedule Fully remote and asynchronous ; work when it suits you. Short-term, contract-based role. Workload varies based on task availability. Compensation & Contract $16 per hour for time spent on tasks. Weekly payments via Stripe Connect. Independent contractor arrangement.
