Following the successful internal secondment of our previous incumbent, we are now seeking a talented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team to support the Marketing Manager in curating an exceptional asset experience that resonates with customers, the community, and commercial partners. Located in the vibrant Rhodes precinct alongside IKEA, Rhodes Waterside is home to major retailers including Coles, ALDI, Kmart, Bing Lee, and Reading Cinemas, plus over 110 specialty stores and 40 eateries. Key Responsibilities Champion customer and community needs through research and engagement Assist in developing and executing strategic marketing plans and experiential programs Support the delivery of the asset’s Community Charter and Stakeholder Communications Plan Drive innovative multi-channel activations to increase traffic and enhance guest experience Collaborate with the asset team to ensure alignment with the Experience Vision and Place DNA Manage digital channels including website, social media, and email marketing Assist in budget management, forecasting, and ROI analysis Coordinate visual merchandising and advertising programs Develop brand and community partnerships to unlock new commercial opportunities Maintain a strong on-floor presence and support PR/media relations Participate in Manager on Duty rotation and contribute to broader asset team initiatives Experience & Qualifications Minimum 2 years in a marketing role Experience in multi-channel marketing, digital platforms, and activations desirable Exposure to business development and brand partnerships is a plus Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, Customer Experience or similar Skills & Attributes High IT proficiency (Microsoft Office) Innovative thinker with a customer-centric mindset Strong understanding of local community and trade area Exceptional styling and visual merchandising skills Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented Strategic thinker with adaptability and resilience Collaborative team player with a willingness to learn About us More than 50 years ago a foundation was laid, with a vision for the future.
