We are currently hiring for one of our international clients for Freelance Level 1 Network Support Engineers to handle on-site dispatch tasks in the following cities across Australia: Brisbane | Canberra | Sydney | Melbourne | Kotara (Newcastle) Role OverviewAs a Network L1 Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for handling on-site, ticket-based support tasks. This includes troubleshooting, installations, migrations, and general IT/network support. Tasks are dispatched on-call and scheduled during weekday business hours only (no weekend or after-hours work). Project DetailsContract Type: Freelance (Independent Contractor)Duration: 1 year (with possible extension)Work Type: On-call, on-site dispatchCompensation: Based on task duration (hourly, half-day, or full-day rates)Basic Must-have Tools: Windows laptop, console cable, Ethernet cable Key ResponsibilitiesPerform rack and stack installations for networking equipmentConfigure and troubleshoot switches, routers, and connectivity issuesManage structured cabling, patching, and printer supportProvide console access and assist in system migrations/deploymentsHandle imaging/re-imaging and other IT/network-related field tasks as dispatched Preferred (Nice to Have)CompTIA Network or Cisco CCNA certification (or currently pursuing) ⚠️ Please Note:Tasks are assigned on-call and scheduled only during weekday business hours.
