Our Client Our client is a well established accounting practice based in the western suburbs. Due to the recent growth in its service offering as well as looking at long-term succession planning, an opportunity has been established to bring onboard a Tax Supervisor to join the Tax and Business Advisory team and oversee the work of accountants and support staff. The main purpose of this role is to continue growing and developing the service offering to a range of clients from various industries. The incumbent will control a portfolio of SME business clients as well as High-Nett Worth individuals to ensure the successful completion of a large number of assignments while maximising revenue and profit opportunities. Main Duties Control and run a number of engagements to successful completion. Complete all tasks autonomously and in a timely manner. Ensure team members are able to provide a quality service and afford them with opportunities for professional growth. Work closely with the Managers in the business to foster strong client relationships. Provide guidance on complex tax queries and mentoring junior staff. Skills and Competencies Relevant undergraduate degree and CA/CPA qualification; 5 years experience in a Business Advisory environment; Supervisory experience; Good analysis, judgement and problem solving skills; Excellent planning and organisation skills; Resilience and adaptability to maintain effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks; Utilisation of relevant software applications, ATO tax portal and website without difficulties; Understanding of the offshoring function and ability to demonstrate intercultural competence.
