We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Cooloola Coast General Practice in Rainbow Beach, Queensland. As a Registered Nurse in our general practice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of the clinic. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work closely with our experienced GPs and administrative staff in a supportive and collaborative environment. Registered Nurse (RN) AHPRA REGISTRATION Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree. Extensive experience in nursing practice, ideally with experience in a leadership or management role. Strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technologies. What you'll be doing Assisting with the assessment, treatment, and care of patients in the general practice setting Administering medications, injections, and other medical treatments under the supervision of the GPs Conducting various clinical procedures, such as dressings, sutures, and minor procedures Providing health education and promoting preventative care to patients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of coordinated and integrated care Assisting with the management of medical supplies and equipment Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines What we're looking for Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a general practice or a similar primary care setting Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals Proficient in the use of electronic medical record systems and other relevant technology Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure What we offer Cooloola Coast General Practice is a supportive and collaborative work environment that values the contributions of our team.
