Job Description Join us in bringing a new approach to medical and wellbeing care for detainees by: Providing individual and group counselling sessions to address a broad spectrum of psychosocial issues. Conducting detailed psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and strengths, and developing personalized treatment plans. Offering immediate support and intervention during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Casual or 0.2 FTE position available Let's talk about you! The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field, and have a minimum of two years’ experience in a counselling or social work role, preferably supporting diverse populations with a range of psychosocial issues. They must also maintain current registration with a recognised professional body, such as ACA or PACFA, including ACA Level 2 or an equivalent industry association.
