The Fiddler, part of the Lewis Leisure Group , is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team. Known as Sydney’s “modern pub,” The Fiddler is a lively destination offering a range of fresh, quality meals in a vibrant setting. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can thrive in a high-volume environment and deliver consistency to our valued guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in line with menu specifications and customer expectations. Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet venue standards. Assist with the creation of daily specials and contribute ideas for menu improvements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering as required. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and report any hazards. What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Cook in a busy pub, club, or restaurant environment. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or working towards qualification desirable). Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Why Join Us?
