The Opportunity We’re seeking a passionate and self-driven Marketing & Communications Advisor to join our team in this brand-new role, leading and delivering impactful campaigns across CPP nationally. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this is a varied position and a true blend of internal and external communications. You’ll play a key role in shaping CPP’s voice, using your creativity and initiative to develop and steer your own projects that connect, inspire, and engage people both internally and externally. As a natural communicator and storyteller, you’ll spend time visiting our regional project sites and interstate offices, getting to know our people, uncovering their stories, and bringing them to life across internal and external channels. You’ll also lead organisation-wide internal communications to support critical systems updates, while contributing to social licence and community engagement initiatives that highlight CPP’s positive impact. Externally, you’ll collaborate with our People & Culture team to strengthen CPP’s Employee Value Proposition and enhance our employer brand presence, particularly across LinkedIn and industry channels. Key responsibilities include: Lead internal communications initiatives to ensure employees are informed and engaged on critical systems updates, People & Culture programs, and strategic priorities. Develop and execute creative campaigns that showcase employee stories, projects, and organisational achievements across internal and external channels. Coordinate external marketing and branding efforts, including content creation, LinkedIn publishing, and supporting employer branding initiatives to enhance CPP’s profile. Support social licence and community engagement projects, helping to communicate CPP’s positive impact within the communities where we operate. Collaborate with business leaders and teams to translate complex information into clear, engaging messaging that aligns with CPP’s values and strategic objectives. Skills And Experiences About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: 5 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications role, or equivalent, preferably within a comparative industry Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills tailored to diverse audiences. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels Confidence in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. A collaborative, people-focused approach with a genuine interest in organisational culture and community impact. Demonstrated ability to create branding content and manage external marketing channels, with a focus on LinkedIn Flexibility to travel interstate Experience at a medium to large organisation with multiple locations will be highly regarded Be rewarded at CPP.
