We have an opportunity for a Head of Open Channel to join our Mobile team at Samsung Electronics Australia! The core responsibilities for this role is to lead the open channel sales teams to develop a successful sales strategy and relationship engagement matrix across JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, Amazon, Costco and other existing/new accounts. Role and Responsibilities Understand retailers and online players business strategies and motivations to maximize Samsung’s unique proposition Develop, manage and measure open channel performance through detailed business planning and regular reviews against plan, and implementation of a sound metrics-based approach to management Optimize channel engagement between Retailers and Samsung sales teams to drive a consistent sales outcome and positive customer experience Strengthen the Samsung value propositions to the market through alignment and fine-tuning of Retailers/Online players activities Implement a strong forecasting methodology to provide Samsung visibility of future sales (weekly, monthly and quarterly) revenues Create a tight internal engagement with the immediate team and broader Samsung business and supporting functions Skills and Qualifications You will have a proven depth of experience leading high-performance sales teams to success You must have led retail sales partnerships at scale with a strong understanding of the telco market within Australia Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth Highly operational individual with ability to create efficiencies Strong communicator at all levels of business What sets us apart from the rest?
