Our warehouse is located in Molendinar & we are looking for Drivers & Removalists to join our Team. The Job: As a Driver or Removalists with Ashtons, you will take on a varied role & be out and about at a different location, around the Gold Coast, almost every day. No two days will ever be the same. Positions are available for an immediate start. Responsibilities: Moving Ashtons customers with care & integrity from one location to the next Carefully loading & unloading furniture & packages in & out of large or small trucks (truck sizes vary dependant on the size of the removal) Ensuring customers items & property are never damaged or lost Communicating with the customer during uplift & delivery Helping maintain a clean & tidy truck, equipment & warehouse The Person: Must be reliable & on time for all shifts Be physically fit; lifting & physical exertion is part of the job Drivers Only - Require a heavy vehicle driving licence – MR minimum Removalists Only – Require a Car licence – (preferable but not essential) Be friendly, helpful, honest, & have a customer first focused attitude Be eager to learn, proactive & embrace daily changes Be hardworking & supportive in a Team environment Take pride in your personal appearance What’s on Offer: Above award rates with overtime and superannuation Drivers - $40.00 p/hr with $50.00 overtime Removalists - $35.00 p/hr with $45.00 overtime Company uniform supplied A chance to work with a great team in a dynamic fast paced environment Opportunity to get fit with a daily change of surroundings Ashtons Removals is a family owned & operated business, that prides themselves on providing quality service to all their customers.
