The Administrative Review Tribunal is seeking applications for a Policy, Procedures and Training Officer within the new Operational Policy, Procedures and Training section. This ongoing full-time hybrid role can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney. Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is APS5 $85,755 pa - $91,809 pa, plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%. About the opportunity Reporting to the Assistant Director and working closely with Senior Policy, Procedures and Training Officers, this role will assist in the development and maintenance of procedures, policy, template and training products. This involves a range of different support for the section that may include tasks related to the development of procedures, policy or training products, liaison with internal stakeholders, and the coordination of consultation or training events. The role is also responsible for maintaining the section's key internal communication channels, including intranet content, mailbox, and regular reporting, as well as record-keeping. About you: To be successful you will have: Ability to maintain productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes. Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis of sometimes complex and voluminous material, exercise sound judgement, identify opportunities for improvement and suggest creative solutions. Good communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality written materials for a range of internal and external audiences, and provide sound advice to internal stakeholders on the use of materials published by the section. Demonstrated capacity to work independently with some guidance, manage competing priorities, plan, and negotiate timeframes. A well-developed understanding, or the ability to quickly acquire a well-developed understanding, of the Tribunal's legislative, operational and policy context, particularly in relation the development of policy, procedure and training materials. Essential: The Tribunal requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement. All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and complete a health declaration. Desirable: Relevant qualifications or experience relevant to the key responsibilities of the role.
