You will be responsible for identifying faults, conducting complex diagnostics, and ensuring high-quality repair outcomes in line with manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests using specialised diagnostic equipment. Perform fault-finding across electrical, mechanical, and software systems. Interpret diagnostic results and provide accurate technical recommendations. Work collaboratively with workshop management, service advisors, and fellow technicians to support efficient repair workflow. Undertake road testing and quality assurance inspections. Remain up-to-date with emerging automotive technologies and participate in ongoing manufacturer-approved training. Skills & Experience Trade-qualified Automotive Technician with strong mechanical and diagnostic capability. Ability to perform a full range of specialist services, including advanced diagnostics and repairs. Diagnostic Technician accreditation (advantageous). Proven background in a diagnostic-focused role within a dealership or specialist workshop environment. Strong understanding of OEM diagnostic tools, vehicle software, and diagnostic systems. High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Current and valid driver’s licence.
