This role will support a range of fundraising and engagement programs, helping to optimise performance, deepen supporter understanding and drive innovation through evidence-based insights. The Impact you will have in this role: As an Insights Analyst, your work will directly shape the success of the McGrath Foundation’s fundraising strategies. By turning data into powerful insights, you will: Help secure vital funding that places McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in communities across Australia. Ensure fundraising campaigns are smarter, more targeted, and more effective, reaching more supporters and inspiring greater generosity. Drive innovation in donor engagement and retention, maximising the lifetime impact of every contribution. Support the Foundation’s bold vision to expand care to people with all cancers, ensuring no one faces their journey without world-class clinical, psychosocial and emotional support. Your analysis won’t just sit in spreadsheets, it will translate into real nurses on the ground, real families supported and real lives changed. Key Responsibilities: Analyse fundraising campaign performance, donor trends and supporter behaviour to deliver clear, actionable insights. Develop dashboards and reports to support fundraising, marketing and leadership teams. Work closely with fundraising managers to test, measure and optimise acquisition and retention strategies. Provide segmentation, forecasting, and predictive modelling to enhance donor journeys. Partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity and effective use of CRM and analytics tools. Contribute to the development of long-term fundraising strategies by identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. Maintain and analyse financial models for the Regular Giving program, including comprehensive revenue and expense forecasting. Skills and Experience: Strong background in data analysis, insights or business intelligence, ideally within fundraising, marketing, or not-for-profit. Strong proficiency in SQL queries, hands on experience with Power BI and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric preferred Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar). Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for non-technical audiences.
