We are seeking a dynamic Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of early learning centres, providing strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of service delivery, people management, compliance, and community engagement. About the Role As an Area Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of early childhood centres, providing strategic direction, leadership, and hands-on support to Centre Managers. Your focus will be to guide and empower your team to deliver high-quality education and care, ensure full compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), and achieve key operational and business objectives. Operating a network of centres in Queensland, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and educational outcomes for children. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and guidance to Centre Directors across your region of Queensland. Oversee the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and drive continuous improvement. Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and professional development. Monitor and support enrolment growth, occupancy targets, and budget performance. Lead change management initiatives aligned with organisational strategy. Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, educators, community stakeholders, and regulators. Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for A&R visits and audits. Champion a culture of excellence, inclusion, and wellbeing across all centres. Essential Criteria: Minimum 2 years of experience as an Area Manager managing multiple childcare services (preferred). Diploma or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (ACEQA-approved) or working towards this qualification. Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain). Availability between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Must have a valid driver's license In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework, NQS, and EYLF.
