Balmain Sports Medicine is a busy, patient-focused clinic in Sydney, offering allied health services including physiotherapy, podiatry, massage, pilates, exercise physiology, as well sports medicine, orthopaedics, and specialist services. We are looking for a proactive Practice Manager to oversee clinic operations, support our medical specialists, and drive business growth. We are an established Allied Health & Sports Medicine practice located on Victoria Rd, Rozelle and we’re looking for a motivated Practice Manager to join our experienced reception team. The practice is open 7 days a week, however our full-time role will only require you to work Monday – Friday. Duties / Responsibilities: Managing all incoming calls Managing all patient bookings / practitioner’s diaries Executive-level support to Orthopaedic surgeons and Sports Physicians (diary management, scheduling, correspondence). Opening & closing the practice Supervising casual reception staff & Rostering Reception staff Invoicing & Receipting (including Hicaps / Medicare) Formatting & sending letters Financial Administration with account reconciliation & aged debtors. Develop marketing initiatives and community engagement strategies to grow the clinic. Communicating between our management, administration, and practitioner teams Other tasks include ordering admin & medical supplies, exporting reports & statistics, creating & designing newsletters, social media posts, education course set up, etc. Required: 2 years’ Reception experience within an allied health / medical practice Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management (or equivalent experience). Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency - Sponsorship will be considered Experience with a medical database software is desirable - currrently Nookal Dictation / Typing experience Committed to excellent client care Ability to remain calm whilst busy / under pressure Friendly customer service Excellent written & oral communication skills High level of computer literacy Able to prioritise, solve problems & multi-task Able to work as part of a team as well as independently Flexibility to work early mornings or late evening shifts We offer an amazing opportunity to be a valued member of a growing allied health & sports medicine practice.
