The ACT Government Analytical Laboratory is seeking a motivated and experienced chemist to take on the role of Assistant Director in the Forensic Chemistry Unit. The Unit conducts forensic analysis of drugs and poisons to support controlled substances legislation and harm minimisation initiatives in the ACT. As Assistant Director, you will: Lead complex forensic casework Provide expert advice to stakeholders Drive quality improvement projects Support the Director in managing daily operations This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, collaborative team environment that values scientific excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
