TRACQS is a leading Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES) provider that delivers quality pre and post-employment and training services to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians across the Western Tablelands of Far North Queensland. Your role will be to lead the strategic and operational management of RAES Community projects across the organization including areas such as governance, financial oversight, contract compliance and business development. Some of the ways you will succeed will be by: Developing and writing of RAES Community Project work plans Proactive reporting on RAES Community Projects performance, emerging issues, and risks to the business to the General Manager. Managing Community Projects by reporting, finance and performance progress. Ensure all RAES contract legislative requirements associated with Community Projects are undertaken diligently to ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety and Privacy Laws. Ensuring the promotion of TRACQS Community projects to promote Good News Stories and other marketing activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, Registered Training Organizations (RTOs), and other community partners who support RAES job seekers You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes. Who are you? Skills and experience we are looking for include: Qualifications in business or community services would be highly regarded, but not essential Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the employment services industry (contractual obligations, guidelines, management, and performance systems). Local, Employment Service Area and regional labour market knowledge. Highly developed problem solving, research, conceptual, analytical skills with the ability to develop practical operational and project plans. Knowledge of Indigenous culture and communities and demonstrated ability to work effectively within Indigenous communities. Ability to relate well to people from all walks of life, including a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients and community stakeholders Attention to detail and skills in administration and use of IT systems A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment.
