Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. LC4S SPO are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join the dynamic Special Operations Command Tactical Networks (SOCTN) team. The successful candidate will play a critical role supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex tactical ICT systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. What You’ll Do Cyber Engineering and Validation Support Requirements Elicitation Support System Security Support and document V&V efforts and maintaining requirements traceability Ability to integrate with the established engineering team What You’ll Need Relevant Qualifications & Defence Experience : Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, or Cyber Security, with experience in Defence cyber security and ICT systems engineering. Technical Delegation & Quality Assurance : Ability to hold technical delegation and demonstrated expertise in system testing, validation, and delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. Integrated ICT Delivery & Documentation : Proven experience in delivering integrated ICT solutions and maintaining detailed technical documentation (plans, procedures, reports). Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration : Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Desirable Defence Capabilities : Experience in tactical communications, fault analysis, and use of IT network support tools within Defence environments. Additionally, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may be necessary.
