About the role: The Project Officer role with Climate Health Victoria presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity well suited to a motivated, adaptable individual, eager to work collaboratively in a small team. You will be required to support the development of initiatives that will reduce the health sector's carbon footprint and build resilience of the sector to climate change. The role has a strong focus on project management and stakeholder engagement requires the ability to work across different groups and workstreams to support timely project delivery. The role will support the delivery climate change mitigation, adaptation and sustainability projects. As Project Officer, you will be required to provide specialist advice on climate change and environmental management matters; effectively liaise with sector stakeholders; respond to queries in a timely manner; liaise with internal divisions/agencies on environmental and climate related issues and support the implementation and monitoring of the Health and Human Services Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan and emission reduction programs. About you: A tertiary qualification in climate science, environmental science, or similar would be highly regarded. High level skills in Microsoft skills.
