About the Role This is an exciting project-focused payroll opportunity supporting Long Service Leave (LSL) and termination processing. You’ll play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements. Working closely with People Services, HR, and Finance teams, you’ll resolve complex payroll queries, perform reconciliations, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy across the payroll function. Key Responsibilities Process LSL and termination payments accurately and within agreed time frames; Conduct detailed reconciliations of LSL balances and related payments; Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll queries promptly and professionally; Ensure compliance with legislation, enterprise agreements, and internal policies; Maintain audit-ready payroll records and data integrity; Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency; and Collaborate with People Services, HR, and Finance teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. About You 4 years end-to-end payroll experience, including LSL, terminations, and redundancies; Strong understanding of payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and compliance requirements; High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills; Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in payroll systems (SAP, Oracle preferred); Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with stakeholders; Collaborative team player with a focus on accuracy and efficiency; and Committed to continuous learning and adapting to system or legislative changes.
