About the Role We are pleased to announce that the Project Manager Medical Response position is now being offered as an ongoing opportunity within CFA's Medical Response team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the continued success and development of CFA's Medical Response program. The Project Manager will oversee key initiatives across all of the CFA medical response programs, leading projects that enhance CFA's capability and support our volunteers in delivering critical medical services to the community. Responsibilities include managing operations, training programs, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective and sustainable outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring experience in medical first response, strong project management skills, and a sound understanding of vocational education and training. Attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting volunteers are essential, along with the ability to build productive relationships with partners such as Ambulance Victoria. Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with CFA volunteers is also essential. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing and evaluating program improvement activities, while managing project outcomes within defined timeframes and budgets. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards, maintaining high levels of stakeholder satisfaction and being available for occasional out-of-hours work and regular travel across regional Victoria. About You Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple and/or complex projects and an understanding of project management methodologies Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders (intra and inter project collaboration) and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes. Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to be adaptable Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial resources Experience working within a volunteer environment.
