An exciting opportunity is available for a Cloud Managed Services (CMS) Tech Lead to own and operate our AWS cloud managed services function. This role is accountable for ensuring stability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of AWS-hosted workloads, while leading a team that supports customers throughout their cloud journey. The CMS Lead will oversee day-to-day operations, drive service improvements, and act as the primary point of contact for escalations and service delivery excellence across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Service Ownership & Operations Lead the AWS managed services team responsible for monitoring, incident management, backup/recovery, patching, and performance optimization. Ensure SLA compliance, operational excellence, and continuous availability of customer environments. Proactively identify and address issues, risks, and incidents to minimize business impact. Customer Engagement & Support Act as the escalation point for customers for AWS operations and managed services. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and ensure AWS environments are aligned with best practices and compliance requirements. Provide regular reporting, cost insights, and service reviews to customers and stakeholders. Team Leadership & Process Management Lead, mentor, and grow the CMS team within a large enterprise environment, fostering a culture of accountability, customer-first mindset, and continuous learning. Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in service delivery to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Ensure processes align with ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management. Cloud Governance & Optimization Implement and maintain governance for security, compliance, cost management, and operational best practices in AWS. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and security teams to align managed services with enterprise cloud strategies. Continuously optimize AWS environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Skills & Experience Proven experience leading Cloud Managed Services (CMS) teams in large enterprise environments , delivering AWS-based managed services at scale. Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2,EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and VPC networking. Hands-on knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, backup/recovery, and cost management . Experience managing incidents, change control, and operational SLAs in a 24/7 mission-critical environment . Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences. Familiarity with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and enterprise monitoring platforms. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or equivalent AWS certification. ITIL certification or strong experience with ITIL- aligned processes. Experience leading managed services in regulated industries (e.g., banking, healthcare, or government). Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure scenarios. Why join us?
