What You'll Be Doing: Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping Providing social and emotional support to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and outings Advocating for clients' needs and preferences, ensuring they receive personalised, person-centred care Collaborating with the broader care team to develop and implement individualised care plans Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to client care Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Requirements Immediate availability – must be able to start on Tuesday, November 11 Relevant qualifications in disability support or a related field (minimum Cert III) Experience working with clients who have challenging behaviours and mental health conditions Proven reliability – must be committed to scheduled shifts and demonstrate a strong work ethic Previous experience in a similar role with a demonstrated commitment to person-centred care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable approach A genuine passion for making a positive difference in people’s lives A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable) Available shifts include: 0600–1700, 1700–2200 sleepovers, and 0600–0900.
