Senior People & Culture Business Partner (Human Resources) Commence Mid-November Long-Term Contract (Secondment Cover) $75 - $85 per hour Super Local Government Opportunity * Hybrid Role - Minimum 2 Days in Office (Lilydale Region) Our client, a highly regarded Local Government Authority, is seeking a Senior People & Culture Leader to join their collaborative team on a long-term contract basis. Working alongside a capable and supportive HR team, with one direct report to assist you, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across three major directorates. Your focus will be on providing expert guidance to leaders, managing complex case matters, and fostering positive workplace culture. You'll play a key role in: Managing and mitigating complex employee relations and case management issues. Coaching and supporting leaders to strengthen capability and confidence. Leading investigations and responding to employee grievances and disputes. Contributing to the design and delivery of in-house training initiatives. To be successful, you will bring: Proven experience in a Senior People & Culture or HR Management role. Strong ER/IR expertise and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. The ability to influence and partner effectively with senior stakeholders. Local Government experience (highly regarded but not essential).
