ConsulANZ is seeking an Operational Project Engineer for our client in Vanuatu, Pacific Island. Our client is a top-tier, well-known construction company with a strong presence in the Pacific region. This permanent position involves overseeing a variety of building and civil projects, including refurbishments, embassies, wharves, resorts, and piling works. We’re looking for a versatile engineer with a flexible, hands-on approach who can adapt to different site environments and manage day-to-day project operations effectively. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day site operations and coordinate construction activities. Assist in planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Liaise with stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar. Experience in building and/or civil infrastructure projects. Proven ability to adapt and problem-solve in changing environments. Strong communication and organizational skills. Prior experience working in the Pacific or similar remote settings is advantageous.
