ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor based anywhere in Australia for a FIFO role to WA on a large piling package on a mining project, working with a top-tier piling contractor. Main Duties Implement and maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards. Support the project team in developing safe work practices, method statements, and job safety analyses (JSAs). Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence. Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and inductions to site personnel. Liaise with management, supervisors, and regulatory authorities regarding safety compliance and reporting. Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement across the project team. Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Safety Advisor or similar role in civil infrastructure, piling, or mining projects. Open to doing FIFO is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Australian safety legislation and codes of practice, including risk management and incident investigation. Experience in piling operations (CFA, bored, driven, Secant walls) or civil construction projects. Excellent communication, training, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary project team.
