ConsultANZ is seeking a Road Maintenance Divisional Manager for a leading civil contractor delivering State Highway and Local Authority road maintenance contracts across Central Otago. This role leads a new 10-year, $30M per annum IDC contract, based in Cromwell or Alexandra, near Queenstown and Wanaka. Main Duties: Manage delivery of State Highway and Local Authority road maintenance contracts Lead a team of 6 direct reports, 30 full-time staff, and 30 subcontractors Oversee budgets, scheduling, performance, and contract compliance Build strong relationships with Waka Kotahi (NZTA) and Central Otago District Council Ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are met Drive team performance and operational efficiency Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field 10 years’ experience in road maintenance or civil infrastructure Proven leadership in managing large maintenance contracts Strong communication, stakeholder, and team management skills Benefits: Competitive salary of $140,000 – $150,000 vehicle medical (negotiable based on experience).
