Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Services Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing client portfolios, leading business services engagements, and providing strategic advice to clients. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, commercially astute, and capable of working with both SME clients and internal teams to drive results. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of business services clients, providing end-to-end accounting, taxation, and advisory services. Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts. Oversee client compliance obligations, including income tax, GST, payroll tax, and Self-Managed Super Fund Identify opportunities to provide value-added advisory services to clients, including business improvement strategies, cash flow management, and growth planning. Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering professional development and high-quality work. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for business services clients. Collaborate with partners to implement firm-wide initiatives and contribute to business development. Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, accounting standards, and industry developments. Key Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualified. 4 years’ experience in a business services role, preferably within a small-to-medium accounting firm. Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance, and business advisory services. Experience managing client relationships and leading teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach. High level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
