Caseworkers work closely with carers and families to ensure each child’s emotional, social, and developmental needs are supported. About the Role An exciting, newly created role has just become available to join our Family Based Care team as a Case Manager on the Central Coast where you will have a real impact making a difference in the lives of children and young people in our care! In this permanent full-time role, you will deliver tailored case management to vulnerable children and young people, supporting recovery from trauma and promoting positive life outcomes. You’ll work closely with foster carers, families, and service providers to assess needs, develop care plans, and monitor progress. Flexibility for occasional weekend work and on-call duties is required. What You'll Do: Holistic case planning to support safety, wellbeing, and permanency. Supporting transitions through and out of care. Timely documentation and reporting. Building strong relationships with carers, young people, families, and stakeholders. Coordinating referrals for after care and supported living. You will need to have: Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. Experience with trauma-informed care and child protection. Understanding of the Permanency Support Program and foster care. Unrestricted driver’s licence and own vehicle. Why Join CatholicCare?
