Chucken Pastoral Trust is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to support grain cartage and farm logistics operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting grain, fertiliser, and other agricultural inputs between paddocks, storage sites, and local receival depots, particularly during seeding and harvest periods. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors in a dynamic agricultural setting. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain heavy rigid and articulated trucks, including grain tippers and semi-trailers Transport grain, fertiliser, and farm inputs between paddocks, silos, and receival depots Load and unload grain using augers, conveyors, and other machinery Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle maintenance Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and road transport safety regulations Maintain accurate load and delivery documentation Assist with general farm duties and machinery logistics when required Skills and Experience Current HC or MC Truck Licence (essential) Experience in agricultural or grain haulage (preferred) Sound understanding of safe loading, vehicle maintenance, and rural road operations Ability to work independently and within a small team Flexible approach with willingness to work extended hours during seeding and harvest seasons Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Benefits Competitive pay and conditions Accommodation may be available on the farm if required Supportive family-run working environment Long-term employment potential
