Position Overview The Accounts Clerk supports Hosemart's financial and administrative operations through accurate and efficient processing of accounts, payroll, and compliance tasks. The role requires attention to detail, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage day-to-day finance operations in a trade and warehousing environment. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices, statements, and customer billing. Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, petty cash, and credit card transactions. Manage weekly and fortnightly payroll processing, including PAYG, superannuation, and leave accruals. Assist in the preparation of BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports. Maintain accounting ledgers, journals, and financial records using MYOB/Xero. Support month-end and year-end reporting and liaise with external accountants/auditors. Maintain accurate records for supplier- and inventory-related transactions. Provide administrative and financial support to the business manager as required. Qualifications and Experience Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related discipline. Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts or bookkeeping, including payroll processing. Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, or similar accounting software. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and data-entry accuracy. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
