The Family: A globally engaged, entrepreneurial family based in Claremont is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly capable newborn nanny to join their household on a long-term, part-time basis. With two older children in school and care, this role focuses solely on supporting the family's youngest child - a newborn. Experience with colic beneficial. Days & Hours: Monday to Friday - 10:00am to 6:00pm Start Date: ASAP Commitment: Ideally 2 years A typical day will include: Sole care of the newborn Feeding, settling, and supporting safe sleep routines Age-appropriate developmental stimulation Bathing, nappy changes, and general infant care Preparing bottles and sterilising equipment Light household assistance related to the baby (e.g. laundry, tidying nursery) Running occasional errands or coordinating household services if time permits The families dream nanny: The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in newborn and infant care, with a strong foundation in child development. They will be confident managing all aspects of a baby's routine while also supporting early learning and milestone development. A degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), paediatric nursing, or extensive professional nanny experience with newborns is highly preferred. This person will be calm, nurturing, and highly professional - someone who is discreet, organised, and capable of supporting a busy household while keeping the baby's wellbeing and development at the centre. Clear communication, a proactive mindset, and an in-depth understanding of infant development and age-appropriate practices are essential.
